What`s included in a rental price quote?

Your charter bus rental quote will include your hourly or daily rental rate for your bus, pay for your driver, full coverage insurance, fuel, and mileage. Your quote will not include things like parking, road tolls, or a tip for your driver.

Do I need to provide a deposit for my rental?

You`ll be required to put down a deposit equal to 10% of your total rental cost at the time of booking. Your rental must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to the start of your trip.

How can I make changes to my trip reservation?

You can make changes to your trip by calling 415-404-6456. Keep in mind that trip changes like extending your rental or requesting a different model of bus may come with additional charges.

How do I cancel my trip?

You can cancel your trip by calling our team 24/7. If you need to cancel your trip, please call as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee refunds for trips that are canceled less than 14 days prior to the start of your trip.

When should I reserve my charter bus?

Knowing the best time to reserve your bus will save you a lot of time and stress. Groups traveling during spring, summer, and major holidays like Christmas will need to request a bus rental 6 to 9 months in advance. Charter buses tend to be higher in demand during these times. During the off-season, groups should request a bus at least 3 months in advance.

What type of bus is best for my San Francisco trip?

The fleet of vehicles in the San Francisco Charter Bus Company network includes minibus and charter bus rentals for groups of all sizes. Minibus rentals often come in 18-,20-, and 25-passenger capacities. Minibuses are often rented for occasions like private tours or business events. Can I rent a party bus in San Francisco?

We unfortunately do not offer party bus rentals in San Francisco at this time.

Can I drink alcohol on my bus?

Drinking alcohol is allowed with prior approval. You`ll need to notify your reservation expert at the time of booking that you plan to drink onboard your bus.

Is smoking allowed onboard the charter bus?

Smoking of any kind is not allowed on any of the charter bus rentals in our network.

Can I eat on my charter bus?

You are welcome to bring food onboard your charter bus, just be sure to thoroughly clean up after your group at the end of your trip. If there`s any trash left aboard or the bus is dirty, you may be charged a cleaning fee.

Can I drive my charter bus rental?

You will not be permitted to drive your charter bus. Even if you have a valid CDL license, only your professional driver will be allowed to operate your bus.

Do I need to pay for my driver`s food and lodging?

If you have a multi-day trip, you`ll need to provide your charter bus driver with a comfortable lodging arrangement. By law, your charter bus driver is required to rest at least 8 hours for every 10 hours of driving. You will not be required to pay for your driver`s food but offering them snacks or refreshments would likely be appreciated.

Am I required to tip my driver?

Tipping is always highly recommended but is not required. Tipping your driver is a good way to thank them for safely servicing your trip. We typically recommend a cash tip of 5-15% of the total cost of your trip.
